Chapter History

Chartered June 3, 1950

Our Founding

The Boston (MA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was chartered on June 3, 1950 with 37 charter members. These dedicated brothers laid the foundation for what would become one of the most active alumni chapters in the Northeastern Province.

Our first Polemarch was Brother Henry A. Hill, who served from 1950 to 1953. Brother Hill went on to become the first Black president of the American Chemical Society in 1977, exemplifying the fraternity's commitment to achievement in every field of human endeavor.
